Facilities
Samson ringo
Samson Ringo currently operates two production plants working simultaneously to cover its full range of valves and engineered systems.
The Empresarium plant, with 13,000 m² of manufacturing area, houses the traditional production lines, including assembly, welding, non-destructive testing, and testing facilities for carbon steel, stainless steel, and nuclear and industrial applications.
In 2025, the new plant located in the named Parque Tecnológico del Reciclado or PTR was inaugurated. An 8,000 m² manufacturing complex featuring state-of-the-art technology and an optimized industrial layout. This significantly more modern facility integrates dedicated areas for welding, machining, inspection, advanced testing, instrumentation laboratories, painting, packaging, and an intelligent raw-material warehouse.
Both plants are connected through coordinated processes and efficient logistics flows, enabling flexible and scalable production aligned with the highest standards of industrial quality and
safety.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT)
Samson Ringo has the equipment and qualified personnel to perform all standard Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods in-house:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Radiographic Testing (RT)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- Hardness Testing
- Positive Material Identification (PMI – Spectrography)
- 3D Dimensional Control Equipment

Welding
Automatic welding column with the following capabilities:
- Processes: TIG-GTAW / SAW
- Narrow-gap torch/holding device for walls up to 250 mm
- Fully automatic positioning
- Maximum length/width: 5.0 m
Additional processes include:
- SMAW: Shielded Metal Arc Welding – Manual
- GTAW: Gas Tungsten Arc Welding – Manual & Automatic
- SAW: Submerged Arc Welding – Automatic
- GMAW: Gas Metal Arc Welding – Semi-automatic
- FCAW: Flux-Cored Arc Welding – Semi-automatic

Assembly
Samson Ringo has multiple assembly stations capable of handling valves from up to 15 tons to up to 50 tons.

Testing
Samson Ringo operates multiple test benches, including:
- Hydrostatic testing for valves up to 60” at 600#
- High-pressure testing:
- Hydrostatic tests up to 20,000 psi according to API 6A
- High-pressure gas testing with N₂ up to 15,000 psi according to API 6A
- Cryogenic testing down to -196°C (3 benches)
- Low-temperature testing with dry ice
- Helium leak detection for fugitive emissions
- Mechanical cycling tests
- Thermal cycle tests
- Functional testing capabilities:
- Operation timing control
- Hysteresis testing
- Deadband measurement
- Valve diagnostics using advanced technologies
(*High-pressure and cryogenic test benches are installed inside bunkers, operated remotely to ensure safety.)

Painting
Samson Ringo has experience and procedures tailored to client specifications, including: standard, high-temperature, buried service, marine environment, and offshore applications.
Quality checks include:
- Coating thickness measurement
- Adhesion tests
- Holiday detection tests
An FROSIO-certified inspector supervises all painting procedures.

Packaging
Two dedicated packaging areas can accommodate valves of different sizes and client specifications:
- Wooden crates for maritime shipping
- Lightweight crates for air freight
- Vacuum packaging options
- Humidity indicator installation
- Fumigated wooden crates according to ISPM 15
