Control valves

Ball control Valve

Ringo Ball Control Valves are designed for accurate, stable, and repeatable flow control in demanding process applications. Thanks to their characterized control seat and controlled ball rotation, they provide high flow capacity (Cv) with minimal pressure drop, making them ideal for applications requiring both control performance and large flow rates.
Their robust and modular design ensures smooth operation, high reliability, and easy maintenance, even under extreme pressure and temperature conditions.

Features and MaterialsDesign and Applications

Features

  • Accurate Flow Control: Characterized control seat offering linear or equal percentage control curves to match process requirements.
  • High Flow Capacity (High Cv): Optimized design that maximizes flow capacity.
  • Low Pressure Drop: Ideal for applications where pressure loss must be minimized.
  • Anti-cavitation and Low Noise: Optional perforated control seat reduces cavitation and noise.
  • High Control Stability: Smooth operation with low hysteresis and excellent repeatability.
  • Bi-directional Design: Allows flexible installation in the pipeline.
  • Fail-Safe Configurations: Open or closed fail-safe operation with spring-return pneumatic actuator.
  • Direct Automation: Prepared for direct mounting of actuators, positioners, and accessories according to VDI/VDE 3845.

Body Design

  • Three-piece body with compact and robust construction, including a central body and bolted adaptors.
  • Allows full on-site disassembly for inspection, maintenance, or repair.
  • Designed in accordance with API 6D, API 6A, ISO 14313, ISO 14723, BS 5351, and ASME B16.34.
