TEBV (Top Entry Ball Valve) SERIES

The TEBV (Top Entry Ball Valve)  is a top-entry ball valve designed to provide secure and reliable shut-off under demanding service conditions, while allowing in-line maintenance without removing it from the pipeline. Its forged body ensures strength and durability, and a wide selection of materials (carbon steel, stainless steels, duplex, super duplex, and special alloys) makes it suitable for severe applications. With tight sealing from either soft or metal seats, low operating torque, and full compatibility with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuators, it meets API 6D and ASME B16.34 standards. The TEBV is widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, and industrial processes where reliability, safe isolation, and minimized downtime are essential.

Features and MaterialsDesign and Applications

Features

  • Top Entry Design: Allows disassembly and maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline.
  • Forged Body Construction: Provides maximum strength, durability, and reliability in demanding conditions.
  • Tight Shut-Off: Achieved with soft or metal seats depending on the service requirements.
  • Low Operating Torque: Ensures smooth operation throughout the full range of motion.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Designed and tested according to API 6D and ASME B16.34 standards.
  • High Reliability: Suitable for critical applications with minimal maintenance requirements.
  • Automation Compatibility: Fully compatible with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators.

Body Design

  • Top-entry body design provides direct access to the internal components for in-line maintenance.
  • Manufactured to API 6D and ASME B16.34 standards.
  • Available with flanged, butt-weld, or socket-weld ends for installation flexibility.
  • Size range: DN 50 to DN 600.
  • Pressure class range: ANSI 150 to ANSI 2500.

Construction Materials

  • Body Materials: Forged carbon steel (A105, A350 LF2), forged stainless steel (F304, F316), duplex and super duplex steels (F51, F55), and special alloys such as Inconel, Hastelloy, and Monel for severe services.
  • Trim Materials: Ball in hardened stainless steel or coated with Stellite, tungsten carbide, or hard chrome. Seats in PTFE, RPTFE, Devlon, or metal for high-temperature and abrasive services. Stem in stainless steel or high-strength alloys with anti-blowout feature. Seals in graphite, Viton, or other high-performance elastomers suited for service temperature.

Trim Design

  • Engineered for bubble-tight sealing with soft or metal-to-metal seats, depending on service conditions.
  • Hardfaced components (Stellite, tungsten carbide) ensure resistance to wear, erosion, and high temperature.
  • Provides low-friction operation and extended service life even under severe operating conditions.

Applications

  • Oil & Gas: Reliable isolation and control in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
  • Petrochemical: Ideal for critical service applications requiring zero leakage and quick maintenance.
  • Power Generation: Used in steam and process lines requiring high reliability.
  • Industrial Processes: Suitable for general process isolation where reduced downtime is essential.
