SEBV (Side Entry Ball Valve) SERIES

The SEBV is a soft-seated ball valve engineered to deliver bubble-tight shut-off and smooth operation in standard to medium-severity industrial services. Its forged body construction provides strength and reliability, while soft polymer seats (PTFE, RPTFE, Devlon) ensure zero leakage and low operating torque. Available in top-entry or side-entry designs, it offers easy maintenance and compliance with API 6D and ASME B16.34 standards. With a compact, lightweight, and cost-effective design, the SEBV is widely applied in oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, water treatment, and power generation industries where reliable and efficient isolation is required.

Features and MaterialsDesign and Applications

Body Design

  • Forged body construction delivers superior integrity and strength compared to cast ball valves.
  • Available in side-entry or top-entry designs for flexible installation and maintenance.
  • Complies with API 6D and ASME B16.34 standards.
  • End connections: flanged, butt-welded, or socket-welded.
  • Size range: DN 25 to DN 600.
  • Pressure class range: ANSI 150 to ANSI 600.

Construction Materials

  • Body Materials: Forged carbon steel (A105, A350 LF2) for standard and low-temperature service; forged stainless steel (F304, F316) for corrosion resistance; duplex and superduplex steels (F51, F55) for enhanced strength in corrosive environments; other alloys available upon request for specific applications.
  • Trim Materials: Ball in stainless steel (316, 17-4PH) with optional hard chrome or electroless nickel plating for improved wear resistance. Soft seats in PTFE, RPTFE, or Devlon for reliable tight sealing. Stem in stainless or alloy steel with anti-blowout design. Seals in Viton, EPDM, or graphite depending on temperature requirements.

Trim Design

  • Precisely machined and polished ball works in combination with soft polymer seats to ensure bubble-tight shut-off.
  • Low friction trim design guarantees smooth, consistent operation and extended service life.
  • Engineered for minimal wear in clean service conditions, maintaining high sealing performance over time.

Applications

  • General Service Isolation: Suitable for standard industrial applications in oil gas, chemical, petrochemical, and power generation sectors.
  • Water Treatment: Reliable for clean water and non-abrasive fluid services.
  • Clean and Non-Abrasive Fluids: Provides zero leakage and high cycle durability in standard-duty conditions.
  • Cost-Efficient Operations: Ideal for systems requiring tight shut-off with low maintenance and operating costs.
