Ball Valve

Ringo Ball Valves, designed for fast and tight shut-off, feature a perforated ball that ensures minimal pressure drop and high reliability. Their compact design makes them ideal for a wide range of industrial applications where tight sealing and efficiency are priorities.

Features and MaterialsDesign and Applications

Features

  • Instant Shut-Off: 90° turn operation for quick and secure opening and closing.
  • Flexible Maintenance: Available in monoblock, two-piece, or three-piece bodies, enabling fast and efficient maintenance.
  • Reliable Sealing: Spring-loaded seats ensure positive sealing even under thermal and pressure variations.
  • Minimal Pressure Drop: Negligible pressure drop in fully open position, optimizing process flow.
  • Long Service Life: Low operating torque and robust construction contribute to extended durability and reliability.
  • Superior Resistance: Excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance, even with aggressive fluids and suspended particles.
  • Versatile Connections: Available with flanged, threaded, or welded connections, according to API/ANSI standards.
  • Wide Operating Range: Safe operation under low and high pressure ranges, suitable for steam up to 200 °C.
  • Reduced Maintenance: Simplified and robust design minimizes maintenance requirements.

Body Design

  • Ball valves are available in monoblock, two-piece, or three-piece bodies, facilitating maintenance and component replacement.
  • Designed to withstand high pressures and temperatures according to API and ANSI standards.
  • Connections available in flanged, threaded, or welded versions.
  • Ensures structural integrity, corrosion resistance, and allows quick installation and disassembly.

Construction Materials

  • Body: A105, LF2, SS 304/316, Duplex, Super Duplex, Inconel, Hastelloy, LTCS.
  • Trim: Ball and seats in SS 316/410/17-4 PH; coatings in PTFE, PEEK, hard metal, or Stellite.
  • Additional Components: Bolting and packing compliant with NACE MR0175 (where applicable), for resistance to corrosive environments.

Trim Design

  • Perforated ball rotates 90° to control flow.
  • Seats and seals ensure tight shut-off and can be metallic or advanced plastic materials for special applications.
  • Trim design minimizes leakage and wear, ensuring reliable and durable operation even in abrasive or corrosive services.

Applications
